When will the series officially start?

We will announce this information in the coming months, our ambition is for the series to kick off in the second half of 2025, but this is yet to be confirmed.

Will Runfest organize brand new marathons or unite existing events?

Runfest is a marathon series that will bring together existing marathons. These marathons are all very reputable and will be organized in exciting and unique locations.

Which marathons are already confirmed to join the series?

We are currently working behind the scenes with a selection of exciting events. We hope to announce the official line-up in the coming months.

Can I already subscribe to join the series as an amateur runner?

We will open the registration as soon as we have officially launched the series! In the meantime, you can subscribe on runfestmarathons.com to be the first the know once this happens and stay up to date on all our developments!

Will the series only focus on amateur runners or also boasts an elite field?

The marathons who will be part of Runfest Marathon Series will both have an elite and amateur field. The marathons are independently organized under the official World Athletics label.

Which cities and countries can we visit through the series?

We can’t wait to announce this in the coming months, but you can expect a strong foundation in Asia, together with other exciting global destinations.
